Cuttlefish or octopus with potatoes

  • 1 kilo cuttlefish
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bunch fennel
  • 1 kilo potatoes
  • 3-4 large tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Clean and wash the cuttlefish or octopus and saute in olive oil with onions. Then add the finely chopped fennel and pepper. Cover them with 2-3 glasses of water and when nearly done add the finely chopped tomatoes, a little salt and potatoes cut into rounds. Let them boil, until their broth is absorbed.
