Recipe ingredients
- 1 kg nettles
- 2 large onions, finely chopped
- 3 spring onions, finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- ½ kg flour
- Approximately 1 small cup of olive oil
- Approximately 1 small cup of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh yeast
- 1½ teacups sesame seeds
- A little yellow cheese
Preparation
Briefly boil the nettles and lightly sauté the onions. Mix with remaining ingredients of the filling.Prepare two sheets of pastry with the ingredients indicated, as follows: Mix salt and flour, then add the oil, vinegar, and the yeast (dissolved in 1 cup warm water). Thoroughly work the ingredients together, adding a little warm water, until the dough becomes homogeneous and soft. Leave the pastry to stand for about 20 minutes, then divide into two, and roll out two sheets with a thickness 4 to 5mm each. Lay one sheet in the bottom of a greased baking tin, add the filling, and cover with the second sheet. Brush the pie with egg or olive oil, and sprinkle freely with sesame seeds. Bake at a medium temperature, for about 50-60 minutes.
