- 1 octopus of approx. 1.5 kilos
- Olive oil
- Onion, finely chopped
Chop the octopus and boil it in a pot with a glass of water. When the water is absorbed, pour a glass of red wine. Cool, until wine is absorbed, add the oil and saute the finely chopped onion. When the octopus begins to brown, pour 1.5 glasses of water and bring to a boil. Then, add the potato and fennel and cook them, until potato is done and only a little sauce remains. Serve the octopus hot and accompany with a glass of black wine.
