The third mountain lodge lies at the area of Sfakia. It was built on Tavri plateau, over Askyfou plateau at an altitude of 1200 metres in 1992 and it also bears the name Askyfou. From the village Askyfou, one can follow a rural road of a total length of 7,7 kilometres that leads here.
However, it is worth following the magnificent itinerary of the path that takes you into the dense cypress trees forest that climbs up from the village to Tavri plateau. The walking distance is about 1,5-2 hours.
