From the settlement Chochlakies, which is located 8km south of Palaikastro and 26 km from Siteia, begins a fantastic accessible gorge, which, after about 1,5 hour’s walk ends at the clean and picturesque Karoumon bay. You can reach the most remote beach of eastern Crete only through the gorge!
