The first part of the southern course of E4 presents a scarcely vegetated landscape, as a results of powerful winds that prevail in the area. From Fragokastello, the course follows the asphalt-paved road to Skaloti, it continues towars Argoules and passes to the administrative limits of Rethymnon Prefecture, to the villages Pano & Kato Rodakino.
