The Beach is only 2km away from Palaikastro and 20 from Siteia. It lengst is about 300m and you can rest under the salt cedars.

The sandy bed of the beach has a mild inclination which makes swimming safe even for the younger tourists. In the southeastern part of the beach there are many, untouched bays with virgin beaches, ideal for more isolation. The three traditional fish taverns, that exist on the beach, are well known all over Crete. People come from every part of the island to taste the famous traditional fish soups.
